Testimonials

We really appreciated Lisa’s help finding the perfect condo for us in Nanaimo. Lisa was a pleasure to work with, responding promptly, cheerfully and efficiently to even the smallest request. She worked tirelessly to get us familiar with different neighbourhoods and to consider different options. Even after the sale was completed successfully - which she facilitated professionally and expeditiously - she was always available to help. Working with Lisa was a great experience.

Marie and LOVE Real Estate Team are simply the best. Marie’s excellent advice, knowledge of all things house-related, her attention to detail, and outstanding commitment all factored into us getting the house of our dreams!

Throughout our experience working with Marie, she demonstrated her integrity time and again through her dealings with us and with other realtors. Throughout the process of looking for and purchasing our new home, she was patient, understanding, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We have come to trust her completely and we would highly recommend her to anyone.

Nanaimo’s Airport: Things are Looking Up!

Published By: on March 16th, 2011 in Category Community News- Nanaimo

At our Remax sales meeting on Tuesday, Mike Hooper, CEO of the Nanaimo Airport told us that the future is looking good for our local airport. The upgrades to the runway and the navigational equipment has vastly improved the reliability of winter flights arriving at Nanaimo’s airport. We no longer need to travel to Comox, Victoria or Vancouver to begin or end our journeys. Mike expects that within 6 months we will see direct flights from Nanaimo to Bellingham, connecting with great deals available from that airport. He also expects that within 12 months we will be able to fly from Nanaimo to Calgary, again connecting with a great number of great routes without going through Vancouver. Yippee! Many of us are waiting for those charters from Nanaimo to Puerto Vallarta – hey, it could happen!

Bon Voyage!

Purchase Plus Improvements:

Published By: on March 10th, 2011 in Category Home Owners Hints, Nanaimo Real Estate News

Did you know?

You can get include renovation costs in your mortgage to purchase a home. Paying off your renovation costs at mortgage interest rates can make buying a fixer-upper affordable. Talk to your mortgage provider about how to qualify for this option. It works like this:

You estimate the costs of improvements (up to 10% of the value of the house) and the future value of the house with the improvements.

You pay for the improvements out of a line of credit and when they are completed the house is reappraised to confirm that the improvements were made.

Then the remaining funds are released. You pay off your line of credit and the amount is added to your mortgage.
