North Nanaimo is generally considered to lie between Oliver Road and Dickenson Rd on the east/ west  borders with the Island Highway on the south and the ocean on the north. Woodgrove Shopping Center is the City’s largest shopping area with several “big box” stores and many amenities located in this area. This area is the most in-demand area of the city and prices are accordingly higher than in other nearby areas. The north-facing slope of the hills along Hammond Bay Rd. are filled with old and new housing developments, many with spectacular ocean views. This area is served by Rutherford,  Hammond Bay, McGirr, and Frank Ney Elementary schools as well as Dover Bay Secondary School. View homes for sale in north Nanaimo below.

Testimonials

When I decided to sell my home in Cedar by the Sea last April, I asked Love Real Estate Group to list it. Within a week, I had offers and a purchaser. Next, Love Real Estate Group showed me a number of potential residences that could meet my needs. Within three weeks, I was very interested in buying a townhouse, made an offer and it was accepted. I was very impressed with Love Real Estate Group’s manner in which they dealt with me. Their advice, professionalism and prompt service were especially appreciated. I would highly recommend these Ladies to others if they are seeking either to sell or buy a home. Thanks again Love Real Estate Group.

We really appreciated Lisa’s help finding the perfect condo for us in Nanaimo. Lisa was a pleasure to work with, responding promptly, cheerfully and efficiently to even the smallest request. She worked tirelessly to get us familiar with different neighbourhoods and to consider different options. Even after the sale was completed successfully – which she facilitated professionally and expeditiously – she was always available to help. Working with Lisa was a great experience.
